Situated in the Jerusalem Artists’ House, Mona is a lovely bar-restaurant that serves well-prepared food in unique surroundings
With a fireplace in the center and a tree growing up through the roof on the far side, Mona offers truly unique interiors and a very good menu to boot. The place offers a hip and vibrant atmosphere and an intriguing yet not over-creative menu. Among the dishes on the menu you will find a rustic Italian Panzanella Salad an interesting selection of Carpaccios, a tasty Seafood Risotto and Shrimp Gnocchi and a selection of steaks.
During the day and the early hours of the evening, the place is rather calm and people come for full sit-down dinners, but in the later hours of the night, the place transforms into more of a bar and the atmosphere is more laidback. On Saturdays, you could catch an exhibition in the Jerusalem Artists’ House before or after lunch.
The place also hosts monthly live music performances, so call and ask about upcoming events.
In short: A beautiful restaurant in Jerusalem that enjoys a unique location and offers well-prepared, tasty food and a special atmosphere.
