There are a number of fine places to eat humus in the alleys of the Old City bazaar in Jerusalem, but Lina is undoubtedly one of the best
Situated not far from the Via Dolorosa, Lina is one of the best places in the Old City of Jerusalem to try the local version of humus. Velvety and a little sour, the humus in Lina has been prepared according to the same recipe for many years now and has established a crowd of fans who come to eat the humus alongside a freshly chopped vegetable salad when visiting the Christian Quarter in the Old City. The atmosphere in this small restaurant is pleasant and friendly and the humus, which is delicate in its taste and generously seasoned with olive oil, is simply very tasty.
The place can get very crowded on Saturdays, when pilgrims, locals and tourists come to enjoy a typical lunch, so you might be better off sampling this place on a weekday.
In short: One of the best places to eat tasty and unpretentious humus in the Old City of Jerusalem
