An offbeat Jerusalem bar which prides itself as a favorite among the city’s nightlife workers and hardcore alternative party people for its cheap prices and cool atmosphere
Yet another Jerusalem nightlife venue that boasts a nonchalant, laidback alternative atmosphere and hosts a selection of local musicians and DJs, the Cassette is a tiny little bar located in the center of Jerusalem. The two most obvious characteristics of this simple little bar are the low prices of the drinks served (which include an excellent 1+1 happy hour every day till 22:00) and the inclination towards retro and away from mainstream trends. The place is indeed “alternative”, no doubt about it.
So, if you feel like a inexpensive late night out in Jerusalem in the company of colorful local inhabitants and interesting background music, the Cassette is the place. If it’s too crowded, you can always walk over to the Taklit nextdoor, another excellent bar in Jerusalem’s nightlife scene owned by the same owners.
In short: An alternative Jerusalem nightlife bar that boasts budget prices, good music and a unique atmosphere
