Located just off the touristy Ben Yehuda pedestrian Mall, Bolinat is a laidback, trendy bar where Jerusalemites and tourists comes to enjoy a drink and a nibble 24/7

The Bolinat is an almost legendary nightlife spot by local standards. During the day it serves as a café-restaurant where customers come to enjoy a coffee and sandwich and chat with the regulars and at night and on weekends it evolves into a cool bar, brimming with students, tourists, middle-aged musicians and kids just out of high school. Everyone seem to enjoy the laidback ambiance, mostly excellent background music (or live music performance) and simple tasty sandwiches, salads and soups. The prices of the drinks are relatively reasonable and the Bolinat usually has special booze deals, so keep your eyes open or ask the waiters.

Many non-Jerusalemites are surprised when they first arrive here, believing the place is uncharacteristic of Jerusalem. This may be true, especially considering the slightly religious trend that has taken over the city, but in fact Bolinat is one of the most “Jerusalem” kind of bars you will comes across, both in terms of style and clientele.
