Moving from Hilton management to local management a few years ago, the David Citadel Hotel offers guests from around the world excellent facilities in a lovely location. The design is neat and tidy, but still quite extravagant, as befits this ancient location. The hotel has a lovely arched entrance and the lobby and interior of the rooms are on a very high standard. Though the hotel’s spa is considered to be one of the best in Jerusalem, its outdoor swimming pool pales in comparison to that of the King David’s pool, despite the fact that it is heated through the winter. The gym, however is very good and so are the spa treatments.
The David citadel enjoys the proximity of the Old City and the center of Jerusalem. Many of the major tourist attractions are within easy walking distance. The hotel is especially accommodating to the needs of business travelers and has an extremely convenient Executive Lounge. Facilities in the room are on a high standard and include all the needed bits and pieces.
