The Bloomfield Science Museum in Jerusalem is an excellent, comprehensive museum that makes for an excellent family outing
With an impressive permanent display that explains a variety of scientific phenomena in an engaging and understandable way and alternating exhibitions that focus on all sorts of strange processes and materials in our world, the Science Museum in Jerusalem is a very good option indeed for a day out with the kids in the city. The best thing about this museum is its interactive, that is, most of the displays are set to respond to the young visitors’ actions or movements, making the whole experience that much more involving. The museum exposes the technological and physical secrets behind various daily actions and devices, teaching children and reminding adults of some basic scientific truths. The permanent exhibitions focus on various topics, such as illusions, the history and attributes of electricity, the physical forces that are related to amusement park rides and many other surprising and fascinating subjects.
The place can get a little crowded on weekends so try to make your visit on a weekday if possible.
