The Red SeaThe southern stretch of beach in Eilat comprises a mix between untouched natural beaches and quiet well-organized beaches that boast some excellent underwater views and pleasant beachfront restaurants

Princess Hotel Beach

The most southern beach on the southern stretch is the Princess Hotel beach, which is near the Taba Border Control (through which you pass to Sinai). A bridge will give you easy access into the water and assure you don’t accidently get pricked by a sea urchin. The beach is closed in the evening.

Migdalor Beach

Further north, not far from the Underwater Observatory, you’ll find the Migdalor Beach. The beach boasts a laidback atmosphere and a lively late night bar that draws younger crowds. The views from this beach are especially nice.

Dekel Beach

In between the declared southern beaches you will find stretches of natural beach with nothing but the blue sea, cobbled shores and tents (enjoying such excellent weather almost all year round, Eilat is a popular camping destination). It can get rather crowded on the Jewish holidays and during the summer vacation (like the rest of Eilat), but it is otherwise a very serene and basic camping experience.
