The beaches along the Eilat Promenade, opposite the major Eilat hotels, are well kept and very popular with local and foreign tourists. These beaches feature parasols, lounging beds and a wide selection of kiosks, cafes and restaurants

The northern beach in Eilat is the most commercialized part of Eilat’s 10km stretch of beach. It offers all the conveniences and amenities, but also entails bigger crowds and less of a serene experience. The northern beach is separated into numerous beaches mostly run by the hotels closest to them, but all of them generally offer the same kind of experience and are barely distinguishable. The best idea would be to walk along the shore until you find the place that suites your taste.

Kisuski Beach

Located between Mall Hayam shopping center and the Meridian Hotel, Kisuski Beach starts off the line of hotel beaches and is a simple rather basic beach which offers various water sport activities.

Papaya Beach

Located next to the Neptune Hotel Promenade, Papaya Beach is famous for its rather exotic atmosphere.

Nikki’s Beach

Shkhafim Beach

Ending the line of Eilat hotel beaches opposite the Harods Hotel, Shkhafim Beach is a relatively serene option, The beach managers offer inflated mattresses, back gammon boards and Matkot free of charge (a deposit is required).

In between these beaches you will find the Moriah Beach, Hilton Queen of Sheba Beach, Golden Beach and Dan Beach. All offer a pleasant atmosphere, beds, chairs and kiosks.

The Bay of the Sun

If you’re looking for a little more peace and quiet, you’ll have to go further to the north-east, beyond the line of hotels. Right next to the border with Jordan, you’ll find Mifratz Hashemesh Beach (Hebrew for the Bay of the Sun Beach) which a recently renovated unspoilt, natural beach that offers sun, sea, coarse sand and large straw parasols.
